Shadows and Bars

The world around us forms by the interplay of light and darkness. When a luminous source shines upon an object, it casts a silhouette. This phenomenon is known as illumination, and it's causes the striking contrast we see between forms in space. Bars, owing to their structure, often create elongated shadows that can be quite compelling.

The location of the illuminating ray has a noticeable impact on the shape and size of the dark projections. As the day progresses, bars will produce shifting silhouettes.

The study of bars and shadows can be revealing, revealing hidden structures within our environment. It prompts us to appreciate the subtle nuances of form and shadow.

Brick Walls, Unbreakable Dreams

The world beyond/past/outside the razor wire is a strange/unfamiliar/alien place. Many long/intensely/years of confinement can make it hard/difficult/challenging to adjust/adapt/acclimate to the shifting/dynamic/ever-changing tides of ordinary/everyday/normal life. Simple/Mundane/Everyday tasks like crossing/walking/traveling a street or interacting/communicating/talking to a stranger can feel overwhelming/daunting/intimidating. Still/However/Yet, there are ways/methods/strategies to rebuild/reintegrate/reconstruct your life and find/discover/locate peace/tranquility/contentment in the world beyond/past/outside the wire.

Resounds in the Cell Block

The steel walls held the murmurs of a hundred lives passed. Each clink of a chain, every heavy footstep on the concrete floor, told a story. Stories of guilt, of despair, all blending in a symphony of grief. Even in the tranquility, one could sense the presence of their stories.

What We Sacrifice
